When we moved to New Jersey many years ago, I was fascinated with a "real" fall. The changing colors were so beautiful. In Louisiana, leaves are just green until sometime in November, when they turn brown and fall off. Okay, there is the occasional tree with a little color, but nothing like up north. The brilliant yellows were my favorite.
