Something about this old basketball hoop at the home of my daughter's piano teacher caught my eye. Not sure why, but I like it.

lol! oh my! I've been chuckling over this pic all evening. It sure has a lot of character, doesn't it! Alas, you may have saved it from its final demise. Why, just this morning while walking Max, I was thinking that if I were a few feet taller I would have ripped those sad strings right off! Fortunately, I didn't have time to drag out the ladder or it might have happened!
Although my kids actually weren't that interested in the sport, over the years I have had many students arrive for their piano lessons early, just to shoot hoops! I would often be in the kitchen and hear the glasses reverberating in the cupboard - and I knew that so and so was here early, shooting hoops. Thanks for reminding me of those special times!
