Swamp

Through the woods behind our house we have a stream and a stretch of swampy land. We rarely go back there; in the summer there's just too much undergrowth to get through. But a couple of us ventured back today to see what was what and were rewarded with muddy boots and pants and some decent pictures.

Laura, I've never imagined swampy land in CT! Especially with me living IN a swamp down here in Loozy-Anna. :^D

Ginger, I'm sure our swamps have nothing on yours! Sort of like I thought we had mountains until I went out West... It's all relative!

I love swampy places. There is so much life going on in them. I agree with Laura, I'm sure our northeast swamps aren't anything like your's, Ginger, but I'm seen some great ones. The Victory Bog in the northeast kingdom of VT is a terrific swamp.

I wouldn't have pictured swamp land either. Are you talking about mountains you saw out our direction? You traveled through lots of scenery on that trip, I'm sure.
