This little guy's mommy was busy today having a baby, so he stayed with us. We served bananas and goldfish and cheese, made monkey noises together, and played with Duplos. It doesn't sound all that tiring--why am I so wiped out?!

No, keeping up with a toddler is very tiring. It just doesn't sound like it. You deserved to be wiped out. (He looks like an adorable little bundle of energy, BTW.)
I feel the same way many days... I have nothing much to show for the day, but I'm exhausted.... toddlers have SO MUCH energy.
